WIDE END 2

Exhibition: Color, shape, motion

Inspired by the vastness of space; the limitless feeling created by looking at the endless horizon in contrast to the structured everyday spaces we inhabit, I created a series of wood sculptures.

By utilizing the repetition of different patterns, sharp angles and casting shadows, a certain illusionistic aspect is created in the work, hypnotizing, overwhelming or playing with the perception of the viewer.

From far they create landscapes that fade, or from close, they are seen as individual shapes that

produce a perception for themselves.
